<p><strong>Amir Baradaran</strong> è un artista &#8211; attivista di origine iraniane non nuovo alle incursioni ed alle sperimentazioni con l&#8217;Augmented Reality, basti pensare al suo <a href="http://www.amirbaradaran.com/ab_monalisa.php">Frenchising Mona Lisa</a> che grazie all&#8217; AR app Junaio, permetteva di <em>augmentare</em> qualsiasi immagine della Gioconda, (naturalmente anche e soprattuto quella al Louvre)</p>
<p>ed ancor più con il suo <a href="http://www.amirbaradaran.com/ab_futarism.php" target="_blank">FutARism Manifesto</a> <a href="http://www.amirbaradaran.com/ab_futarism.php"></a> dove si teorizza che l &#8220;Augmented Reality (AR) is employed as a new artistic medium&#8221;</p>
<p>L&#8217;ultima azione di <strong>Amir Baradaran</strong> è a <strong>Venezia</strong>, con installazioni (In)visibili sparse per la <a href="http://www.labiennale.org/en/art/exhibition/">54esima Biennale d&#8217;Arte</a> e fruibili grazie sempre all&#8217;app Junaio  ed al suo canale &#8220;Venice Augmented&#8221; o &#8220;Amir Baradaran&#8221;</p>

<p>&#8220;When in Venice for the 54th Biennale, search and discover media and performance artist Amir Baradaran&#8217;s new visible (in)visible project Venice Augmented, active surrounding many of Giardini di Castello and Arsenale pavilions from June 1 throughout the duration of the the Biennale.<br />
Using Augmented Reality (AR) as art, Amir Baradaran projects new meanings and movements onto the environment. As Baradaran states, &#8220;I am interested in how small acts of resistance, particularly within so-called virtual domains, can create pockets of transformation.  Seeking to generate much more than novel surprise, my art explores new ways of being.&#8221;<br />
Comprising a number of (un)seen attributes embedded throughout the docks and garden, Augmented Venice promises a landmark addition to the Biennale. Accessible to visiting publics through a number of activation points  scattered throughout the Venice landscape, the project is among the first Augmented Reality works to feature at the Biennale.<br />
Moving from previous projects using both graphic- and facial- recognition activators (also called &#8220;markers&#8221; or &#8220;points of interest&#8221;), Baradaran&#8217;s project for Venice pays homage to the city&#8217;s rich history of Classical portrait painting and avant-garde Italian Futurist Movement.  Venice Augmented builds on previous infiltration of the Louvre Museum in Paris with Frenchising Mona Lisa, and the New York City FutARism Manifesto performance.<br />
This year, Baradaran goes viral in Venice.&#8221;<br />

<p>In occasione del Festival della Creatività  che si svolgerà a Firenze dal 21 al 24 ottobre 2010, FFF organizza un  nuovo Urban Fruit con il primo esperimento di Realtà Visiva Aumentata:  &#8220;Più. Design per il cambiamento / More. Design for change&#8221;.  Sul tema della libertà di espressione (con tutte le nuove implicazioni  che questa comporta) un gruppo di graphic designer internazionali hanno  lavorato per costruire una specifica esperienza visiva su due dimensioni  parallele.</p>
<p><span>La mostra avrà inizio alle 15.00 a </span>&#8220;Le murate&#8221; (ex-carcere complesso delle Murate) via dell&#8217;Agnolo 1,<span> e durerà per tutta la durata del festival.<br />

<p>Contributi di &lt;i&gt;Philippe Starck, Gastone Mariani, Giampiero Moioli, Mario Gerosa, Andreas Henning, Ignazio Gadaleta, Luca Lisci, Patrick Moya, Cristiana Campanini, Francesca Porreca, Ezio Grisanti, Gino Flore, Pierluigi Casolari, Giovanni Ziccardi, Bruno Aliprandi, Margherita Balzerani, Marco Rapino, Sonia La Rosa, Renzo Salvi, Marcello Pecchioli, Stefano Lazzari, Tommaso Correale Santacroce e Federica Peruzzo, Cristian Contini e Alberto Mori&lt;/i&gt;</p>
<p>Decisamente un libro che mancava nel panorama italiano delle culture digitali, e non solo.</p>
<p>Questo non lo affermiamo per necessario dovere dato che accoglie un nostro piccolo contributo (&#8220;&lt;i&gt;Augmented Reality, Augmented Advertising: le potenzialità per la comunicazione pubblicitaria ed il marketing&lt;/i&gt;&#8221;) o perchè abbiamo creato la copertina AR (forse&lt;b&gt; il primo libro italiano con una copertina Augmented Reality&lt;/b&gt;? <img src='http://www.augmentedadvertising.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':-)' class='wp-smiley' /> , ma perchè è davvero un testo imprescindibile per chi si occupi di next media, mondi immersivi e metaforici, realtà aumentata e mooolto altro.</p>
<p>A parte la &lt;b&gt;poetica prefazione di Philip Starck&lt;/b&gt;, (e scusate se è poco) forse in nessun libro italiano ci si interroga  contemporaneamente di&lt;b&gt; Second Life ed Open Sims, di arte e di architetture reali e virtuali, di software, di cinema/machinima, di web 2.0, Social Media e Social Networks, di realtà immersive, metaforiche, aumentate e mixed,&lt;/b&gt; insomma di tutto il panorama dei new media/next media di cui spesso vi diamo conto su questo piccolo blog.</p>
<p>&lt;b&gt;Giampiero Moioli e Mario Gerosa&lt;/b&gt; hanno cercato, riusciendoci &amp;nbsp;in pieno, di raccordare&amp;nbsp;gli aspetti teorici e quelli pratici dei temi trattati, ed infatti il libro si rivolge non solo a tutti coloro che &amp;nbsp;si occupano di culture digitali, ma anche a chi opera in ambito artistico culturale (scultori pittori, architetti, designer, critici d&#8217;arte etc)</p>
<p>&lt;b&gt;Il libro è già fra le nostre mani&lt;/b&gt;, a voi tocca &lt;b&gt;aspettare settembre&lt;/b&gt; quando verrò distribuio nelle librerie, e vi terremo naturalmente informati sui numerosi eventi di presentazione gia previsti , che verrano organizzati nei vari mondi, Reali, Immersivi Virtuali, Metaforici, o Paralleli che siano..</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Se pensate di aver già visto tutto, date un occhio a questi video sull&#8217;image tracking, anzi, <a href="http://www.image-metrics.com/">image metrics,</a> una tecnologia per <i><b>&#8220;catturare l&#8217;anima&#8221;</b></i><b>.</b><br /><b><br /></b><br />La tecnica del <b>motion capture</b>, (cioè il riprendere attori con markers e traccianti per catturare i movimenti e associarli a modelli 3D creati al computer), non è una novità, sono molti anni che viene usata nella produzione dei videogames; la vera novità è il <b>realizzare tutto ciò in tempo reale</b>, senza marker e addirittura con una normale webcam come  si è visto con lo sconvolgente demo di <b>Emily</b> al 2009 Computer Electronics Show a Las Vegas.</p>

<p>E&#8217; con grande piacere poter finalmente parlare  di una<b> realtà</b> (aumentata <img src='http://www.augmentedadvertising.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':-)' class='wp-smiley' /> ) <b>tutta italiana</b> che sta realizzando un egregio lavoro nell&#8217;ambito dell&#8217;<b>Augmented Reality</b>, con alcuni prodotti collegati nientemeno che  a quella killer app che è Google SketchUp.</p>
<p>La divisione ricerca della <b>I</b><b>nglobe Technologies</b> (&#8220;Next Generation IT Factory&#8221;, come si definiscono) ha realizzato infatti due eccezionali plugins (<a href="http://www.inglobetechnologies.com/en/products/arplugin_su/info.php">ARexporter </a> e <a href="http://www.inglobetechnologies.com/en/products/arplayer/info.php">ARplayer</a>) per esportare modelli 3D direttamente in realtà aumentata da Sketchup, e scusate se è poco.</p>

<p>Non solo: un&#8217; altra applicazione tutta gratuita, <a href="http://www.arsights.com/">ARSights</a>, permette agli utilizzatori di Google Earth di visualizzare comodamente molti dei modelli 3D presenti in Google Earth in Realtà Aumentata, direttamente sul proprio desktop&#8230;</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><b>L&#8217;augmented Realit</b>y è ai suoi primissimi ingenui vagiti&#8230;e siamo tutti consapevoli che l&#8217;evoluzione della tecnologia e delle sue applicazioni seguirà una strada <b>abbastanza differente</b> rispetto alle nostre speculazioni&#8230;</p>
<p>C&#8217;è da dire però che l&#8217;idea di uno <b>spazio sensorio autarchico,</b> in cui si <b>manipola</b>, si <b>corregge,</b> si <b>esalta</b>, si <b><i>aumenta</i></b>&nbsp;appunto il reale <b>in diretta </b>per operare una sorta di <b>chirurgia sensoriale</b>, non è nuova, almenno nella fantascienza: dal Sole Nudo di Asimov grandissimo <a href="http://cristiancontini.blogspot.com/2006/08/fantascienza-20-per-lombrellone-estivo.html">Ciclo della Trascendenza</a> di cui abbiamo parlato spesso, e in cui c&#8217;è proprio tutto tutto&#8230;</p>
