Augmented Reality MarkUp Language proposto da Mobilizy

Una modesta proposta da Mobilizy la società che ha creato Wikitude, uno dei belligeranti dell’ Augumented Reality Browser War: la creazione di un Augmented Reality MarkUp Language, (ARml) stile Html, il che non sarebbe una cattiva idea sopratutto pensaci ora, che siamo proprio agli inizi dell’Augmented.

…Molto interessante il partire dal KML (usato da Google Earth)…nel video qui sotto vengono spiegate un po di cosette..

Ecco la proposta, a grosse linee:

  • Founded upon KML with extension name-space for AR specific data;
  • Placement of a “View in AR” icon which clearly identifies a mobile
  • website that supports location aware (real time) data in an ARMLbrowser;
  • Compliance with basic XML document structure – no proprietary
  • programming API required to create an AR layer.
  • ARML adherent data can be viewed on ARML browsers (e.g. Wikitude) and KML browsers (e.g. Google Earth);
  • Custom styling of AR data (points of interest) via standard KML
  • styling elements; and Initial support for UTF-8 encoding.
